The New England Freezers '04 team beat the Metro Moose NY team in the Championship game with 4 -3. The day before the team....The New England Freezers '04 team beat the Metro Moose NY team in the Championship game with 4 -3. The day before, the team lost to the same team with 7-4. The 04 Freezers started the tournament slow with two losses but in their final game 04 Freezers beat the Northeast Selects with 4-3 to secure a play-off spot. In the semi finals the team beat a strong CT Jr. Rangers team with 3-2 to move on the the finals and to play the Metro Moose team from NY again. This time the team skated hard for the entire game and with a win from behind the 04 Freezers won the game 4-3 and secured the "Silver Championship". If the team would have skated the entire weekend with that type of effort and determination there would have been no doubt the team would have been in the "Gold Championship".
