Originally from Germany, Oliver Vieten played professional hockey for 14 years. After his retirement, he moved to the states and started his coaching career. Over the past 20 years he has coached with the Boston Jr. Terriers, Providence Capitals, and Boston Jr. Eagles. 
His love for the game has given him the opportunity to build the New England Freezers Elite/ AAA spring/summer and fall programs. It is also to give kids the necessary skills and attitude to be succesful down the road not only in hockey but also in life.
Coach Vieten has coached many players who moved on to prep-schools, Juniors, D1, D3 and the professional levels.

Coach Vieten is also a Level 4 CEP coach with USA Hockey.
